Promote among its member staff associations a coordinated approach on matters of common interest and to reinforce representation of its members in negotiations with bodies of the United Nations common system.

      Promote better understanding between the Administration of the United Nations Secretariat, UNDP, UNFPA, UNOPS, UNWOMEN, and UNAIDS and the Unions of UNFSU, the Staff Council and UNSU especially in formulating and implementing policies, guidelines, rules and regulations, affecting staff.

      Promote cooperation with UN Common System Staff Associations and Unions on matters governing conditions of service with the United Nations and Specialized Agencies.

      These objectives are pursued through discussions and negotiations with the International Civil Service Commission and the respective administration of the Members.
